To make the crown bigger or smaller we advise you to maintain the central pattern and increase or decrease the number of stitches in the first row. Separating popcorns amongst it.

STARTING ROW: Make 117 chains.ROW 1: 1 ch to start the row and 1 sc in each stitch. Finish off with sl st in first ch to work in circles. We have 117 sc.ROW 2: 1 ch to start the row and sc in each stitch of the previous row. We have 117 sc.ROW 3: 1 ch to start the row and 8 sc in the next 8 stitches. Make a 4 ch popcorn and a chain to fasten. Make 11 sc in the next sc and 1 popcorn. 11 sc and 1 popcorn until make 9 popcorns separated by 11 sc. Finish off with sl st.ROW 4: Repeat ROW 2. Be carefull that you do not work over the ch of the popcorn.ROW 5: Repeat ROW 2.ROW 6: 1 ch to start the row and 9 ch. Jump 4 stitches of the previous row and make 1 sc and 9 ch. In the centre we have made a triple picot.

STARCH OF THE CROWN FOTO TUTORIALTo achieve the hardened effect we have starched the crown with our grandmothers traditional formula using equal parts of water and sugar.

STEP 1: Pour the same amount of sugar and water into a bowl. Boil for 2 minutes.STEP 2: When the mixture is lukewarm, introduce the crown. Let it soak completely. Drain patiently without twisting it.STEP 3: We lined a circular vessel of the size of our Crown with padding material or rubber eva. Set the crown with pins attached to the container and leave it dry for 24 hours.Finally place a few stickers to give it a nice colorful touch. We hope to receive many pictures of princesses with their crowns of crochet.
