Product Development
Firstly, I got a picture off google images for an ordinary leather recliner. This would be the main part of my product, and the base of the Photoshop image I was about to create. I took the background off the image by using the magnetic lasso tool.
I then did the same to a picture of a toilet seat. I turned the opacity down so it would be easier for me to rub out the parts that I did not need when I placed it onto the chair. I then turned the opacity up and the photo above was the result.
I also decided to fill in the middle of the toilet seat with black, so I painted in the middle. To make this easier, I lowered the opacity of the seat so I could see where I would need to fill in, similar with what I did to the seat itself.
**FINAL DESIGN FOR ELDERLY/DISABLED**
I then decided to add two mini fridges on the side of my chair. I turned the opacity down and blurred them into the recliner so that it looked a bit better.
I added my next piece of technology onto my leather recliner: a speaker. I simply moved and rotated the speaker after cutting it out (magnetic lasso) for this.
As teenagers enjoy the technology, I decided to add in a wireless charger and a phone. I used the magnetic lasso tool again to cut both shapes out and then I placed them onto the recliner.
