Analysis Paragraph structure

Topic sentence that states the paragraph’s purpose. The author uses X to prove the claim that…Cite/highlight/mention specific word for word examples from the text that prove the topic sentence. Throughout the image, the author used the color red to strengthen his claim that fulfilling a personal passion is more important that following society’s rules. OR In the bottom right corner of the image, the blue dot show the author’s expression of sadness to prove her point that we are in control of our emotions. “HOW” ANALYSIS: This is the most important part of your paragraph. It should be three sentences AT LEAST. These are sentences that directly accomplish your task by explaining HOW the author used writing tricks effectively to prove his/her claim. Review your 2 + 2 = 4 performance and use the sentence stems below to help. One simple trick is to be sure to use the word “by.”
