Musicianship Classes

Music ianship Classes ( Junior and Senior Infants): Tuesdays 1:10-1:50

Dear Parent,

The musicianship classes are designed to introduce young children to the basic elements of music and to prepare them for successful instrumental playing. Musical concepts are introduced through a fun medium incorporating: song, games and movement. The primary focus is to develop a child’s rhythm and pitch perception and they are introduced to basic music literacy. The course content is progressive and provides the early fundamentals for instrumental music.

Students must be brought to and collected immediately after class. Full fees must be paid before the start of each term. Each term consists of six weeks. Places for which fees have not been received will be reallocated. If you would like more information, please feel free to contact me.

Teacher: Angela Leake is a multi-instrumentalist holding an honours BMus from the CIT-Cork School of Music. In addition, she holds qualifications in: piano, pipe organ, violin and flute.

Fees per term: €45(payable at first lesson)
