We will sometimes do this with words problems and in simple addition sentences. We will also be able to tell two related sentences: 1 addition/1 subtraction. Refer to the Engage New Words Their Way (spelling) Please remember that we sort and work on our “SPELLING”/Words Their Way lists each night. The parent check sheet will guide you. We will continue working on animals and classifications. We will specifically study “Cactus Hotel,” which highlights the animals and plants of the Southwest.

Math We continue adding and subtracting numbers to 20. We will sometimes do this with words problems and in simple addition sentences. We will also be able to tell two related sentences: 1 addition/1 subtraction. Refer to the Engage New York website Module 1 lessons 30-35….. for hints on strategies used.
