Divesoft.center
Introduction to Divesoft.center and it’s functions
Divesoft center is a support software created by Divesoft The Divesoft center is used to
operate Divesoft devices (Freedom Force, Liberty 2021 edition and newer products), and to
manage and update device firmware, download dive logs, and conveniently upload dive logs to
Wetnotes The Divesoft center mediates the connection of the divesoft device via a Bluetooth
wireless connection
Compatibility
Divesoft center software is compatible with Windows, Linux and iOS
Necessary Hardware
Desktop computer with Windows 7 and higher, or iOS with a built-in Bluetooth device
Windows computers require a USB Bluetooth dongle, even if your computer has Bluetooth
functionality.

Install the software on your computer
1 Download the Divesoft center installation files from the Divesoft website with regard to
your operating system https://www divesoft com/en/support
2 Unzip the zip file to a directory of your choice on your computer
3 Double-click the exe file to start the installation and follow the instructions of the
installation wizard

Pairing and connecting Divesoft devices
1 Start Divesoft center by double-clicking its icon
2 Launch Divesoft (Freedom Force, Liberty 2021 Edition) (long press both buttons)
3 Start Bluetooth on the divesoft device Menu / Applications / BLE connection
4 In the Divesoft center program, click on the “ADD DEVICE” button (see Screenshot 1) Select
the desired Divesoft device from the displayed devices (see Screenshot 2)
IF YOU DON’T SEE THE CONNECTION AND THE APP SAYS “BLUETOOTH IS NOT AVAILABLE”,
FOLLOW THE DONGLE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

After pairing the device, the corresponding device is displayed in the Device list
From now on you have the option to manage the device by clicking on the “DEVICE INFO” button,
or remove the device by clicking on the “UNPAIR DEVICE” button

Out of date firmware notification
Divesoft center checks for firmware on your device If the current firmware is available,
a warning triangle will appear on the device in the firmware box Click on the “DEVICE INFO”
button

Upload a new version of Firmware
To upload a new firmware version, click on the “DEVICE INFO” button next to the required
Divesoft device
If a more up-to-date firmware version is available, Divesoft center will automatically offer you
to download this version and then simply press the “UPDATE” button

There are two other options You can either check the firmware update using the “CHECK FOR
UPDATES” button
The firmware can also be downloaded from a file located locally on the computer If
you have a zipped file on your computer, press the “CHOOSE FIRMWARE FILE” button in
the Divesoft center The program will prompt you to mark the zipped firmware file Confirm and
the firmware will be uploaded to your device
It may take a few minutes to upload the firmware
CAUTION: Do not turn off the BLE connection during recording.

After uploading the firmware, you will be prompted to switch to the Bootloader so that your
firmware can be activated on the device You start the bootloader by entering the service mode
of the device (press both buttons, release one, press again, release both) Here you will find the
Bootloader item After switching to the bootloader, the firmware is automatically loaded The
status of the process is shown on the display The process takes about a minute
After uploading the firmware, the device restarts itself and activates the new uploaded
firmware

Use the “Support” button to access to the DIVESOFT support pages Here you will find all user
manuals in various languages for all DIVESOFT devices, archives with firmware for all devices,
support software that you can download

Dive logs download
Press the “DIVE LOGS” button to open the dive history on your device The following data is given
for each dive:
Log number;
date and time of the dive;
Maximum depth;
download / downloaded;
upload / view log
If the log has not yet been downloaded to your computer, a down arrow appears in the left
position of the ACTION column Click this arrow to download the log file to your computer The
file location is set in SETTINGS (see below)
Once the file is downloaded from the device to the computer, the arrow icon changes to
a folder icon
Upload Dive logs to WETNOTES.COM
Logs cannot be viewed directly in Divesoft center The web application WETNOTES COM is used
for this
To the right of the ACTION column is the upload symbol This is a designation for a dive log that
has not yet been uploaded to wetnotes com You must be logged in to upload the firmware If
you are not logged in, you will be prompted to do so You can log in using the “Login” command
on the top bar on the far right If you have not yet created an account, select the Sign up option
in the login window and create an account
If you are logged in, click on the arrow symbol Once the file is uploaded to wetnotes com, the
icon changes to an eye symbol By clicking on the eye symbol you will be redirected to the dive
detail on WETNOTES COM

Uploading a license to Freedom Force
Freedom Force has the option to upgrade the license, which determines the advanced features
of the device For specifications and comparisons, visit www divesoft com
On the List of devices tab, click the “DEVICE INFO” button on the Freedom Force device At
the bottom of the screen In the “Upload divice license” section, click the “CHOOSE DEVICE
FILE” button Select the license file that was sent to you and confirm The license will start
uploading to your device automatically After completing the action, check the firmware status
in Menu / System check
If the change does not take effect, restart the device and check again in System check

Privacy
The “Privacy” command in the top bar opens the legislative conditions for using the software
and handling personal data

Settings
In the settings section, you can set the default folder for saving downloaded dive logs – the
EDIT PATH button Press OPEN FOLDER to open the set folder
Use the RESET SETTINGS button to set the original settings

System logs
With the SHOW SYSTEM LOGS button you can download system logs in which records of device
behavior and events during and outside the dive are stored These files are especially important
for diagnostics
Customer support can ask you to download and send these logs when you need help with
diagnosing your device

1 When you open the application for the first time and the driver is not visible, it needs to be
installed

3 Launch zadig app – if there is a request to allow a 3rd party application, approve it and run
the app

4 Open Options menu and click to List All Devices This action will show you list of available
devices in a drop-down list
5 Choose BLE (bluetooth low energy) from drop-down list – be sure that you are installing
driver for correct device From the list, select the item that matches your dongle Usually
the name matches the label you find on the body of the dongle or on the original packaging
of your dongle, or the CSR label If you are not sure, remove and plug in the dongle again
and scan it again, noting which item has appeared and disappeared
ENSURE your bluetooth/dongle supports BT 4.0 with BLE support.

6 Click on Replace Driver button

8 Restart your computer and The Divesoft application should indicate scanning by a green
pulsating icon

What is WETNOTES.COM and what is it for?
WETNOTES COM is a web application that is used to store, sort, edit dive logs Wetnotes com is
an online diving log that can display dive details and record additional location, gear and more
UPLOAD YOUR DIVES
You have the possibility to keep track of each dive you make All you must do is upload
essential information from your deco computer or rebreather Store your gas management,
ascent and decompression data online where you will be able to analyze your dives easily
ANALYZE DATA
With WetNotes you can analyze and monitor the performance indicators of your deco computer
or rebreather in detail and from the comfort of your home After uploading your dive logs,
a collection of easy-to-navigate charts will be immediately available

SHARE WITH OTHERS
If your friends and colleagues want to know about your diving experiences If they want to know
where you dive and what results you have achieved, you can share your skills and know-how
with them just by clicking a button!

Log in
You must be logged in to work on wetnotes com Click the Login button in the upper right
corner of the website and log in If you have not yet created a profile on wetnotes com, you can
easily create one by clicking Sign up in the login window

After logging in, you can follow the basic statistics of your dives, including the position of the
dive sites

Click Settings in the top bar to open the settings page Here you can set the units you use

How to add dives to Wetnotes.com
If you own a Divesoft Bluetooth device, use the Divesoft center software to download logs and
upload to wetnotes com, as described earlier in this manual
If your device does not have a Bluetooth connection, use the following procedure
Follow the manual for your device to download the dive log files to your desktop computer
Press the “+ NEW LOG” button in the far right corner of the screen or in the top bar
Then drag the files to the highlighted box, or press the “CHOOSE FILE” button and select the file
from a directory on your computer
The selected dive (green frame) can be edited It is possible to fill in the name of the locality,
visibility, surface air temperature, salinity, weather, amount of load, and diving partner If you fill

in the GPS coordinates (some Divesoft devices have a built-in GPS and the coordinates are part
of the log), the location will be displayed on the map
You can also enter the type of dive
If you enter the values of the pressures in the cylinders and their volumes according to reality
Wetnotes will calculate your consumption in the recorded dive
Devices that have cylinder pressure reading devices will write these values automatically
If you have common data for multiple dives, you can mark multiple dives and give them the
same properties and descriptions

Dive list
After uploading your dives, the dives will be displayed in a list of dives with basic data such as
order, date, location, maximum depth, dive length

Each dive has three icons assigned to it on the right
Use the VIEW DIVE DETAIL icon to open the dive detail
You can use the EDIT DIVE icon to enter the dive editing and edit the dive attributes
Use the DELETE icon to delete the dive
Dive detail
Graphs for depth (blue) and decompression ceiling (black) are shown in the dive detail
Diving errors are marked with a yellow triangle After hovering the mouse over the triangle,
a description of the error is displayed
The graph of ppO2 and setpoint shows the course of ppO2 (green) and in the case of CCR
setpoint (orange)
The last graph shows the temperature in a given part of the dive
All graphs are interconnected and after hovering the mouse over the graphs, the values at
a given moment of the dive are displayed

These graphs show the mode at a given dive time, and the mixture used In the case of
alternating mixtures or modes, this is reflected in different colors and descriptions
