ENHANCED WEBSITE SERVICES FOR EASING YOUR WORKLOADThe MBA Tour is embarking on a two-year investment plan that will transform website in three major areas. We will invest in technology to make student user experience more mobile friendly from registration to event management. We will also invest in a more mobile friendly environment for university users that will include a mobile application for managing and recording the quality of interactions with students. In addition, we are enhancing the business school profiles to showcase all programs and to allow students to reach the details of those programs while at events. Finally, with the easy availability of the internet at venue locations, The MBA Tour will migrate to on-line events allowing students and schools to change and confirm meeting schedules in real time using a waiting list to fill meeting schedules efficiently. Be sure to learn more about these planned features when you meet with your account manager. ENHANCED WEBSITE SERVICES FOR SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVES AND CANDIDATES In line with our philosophy of maximizing school and candidate interaction, we continue to build more functionality for school representatives to create their own conference schedules and better manage their travel plans. Deadlines, personalized schedules, and for Travel Package participants – hotel and flight reservations are all found in your online portal. We continue to improve the coordinated release of panel assignments, school presentations and MeetUps by assigning school presentation times and panelists before schools send MeetUp invitations. Scheduling enhancements will allow candidates to reserve time for school presentations, MeetUps, and panels on their schedule. The MBA Tour finds that prospective students are more likely to stay longer at an event to fulfill a pre-planned schedule. With personalized schedules for students, The MBA Tour can collect and share more data on candidate preferences including in which presentations and MeetUps students are interested. New filtered downloads from the dashboard will make it easier to communicate with students pre and post event. In the coming recruiting season, your downloads will be filtered to support: 1. The registration of people who did not attend2. The people who attended but were not scanned by your school3. The people you scanned4. The people from registration who said they planned to apply to your program With automated MeetUp invitations, the volume of emails sent to students will be very high. To prevent The MBA Tour server from spamming students, we will now send students updates periodically alerting them of new invitations from schools. Students will still need to read the invitation before confirming an invitation. Schools are still able to send custom emails, and students will still read the custom portion of the email before confirming an invitation. New mobile friendly university profiles continue to help students sort through information about schools more effectively. Please ensure your profile is current supporting admission information, special programs, concentrations and career opportunities. If you plan to have your business Masters programs represented at our event, please make sure there is an accompanying profile. Best wishes,Peter von Loesecke,CEO and Managing Director

THE MBA TOUR ADVANTAGE

LETTER FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

With our recent acquisition by the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC), The MBA Tour will be able to market to a much broader candidate pipeline. As part of GMAC’s new global recruiting organization, we are already leveraging more market intelligence and targeting bigger pipeline to reach MBA and MS candidates. The process for leveraging the potential synergies between the organizations has just begun. In the coming months we will have much to share with you about our combined marketing efforts, tracking of candidate outcomes, sharing of marketing content, and much more. Please make sure you meet with your Account Manager to receive an update on our progress and learn about how we are leveraging the power of GMAC’s information. I am also very excited about this new season as I am very pleased to announce our 2019 Fall and Summer conference schedule and new website services. I am very pleased to announce our new city Hyderabad bringing our Summer and Fall global tour schedule to 53 conferences. The MBA Tour continues to enhance our website services to help you identify candidates who are more likely to meet with you during our conferences. On behalf of our entire team, I look forward to seeing you on the road this coming recruiting season! CHANGES TO OUR CONFERENCE SCHEDULEWe have revived the old July Asia Tour to markets where we know there are sponsored students who have prepared early for business school. We are also enriching our China events with more content that targets candidates who are early in the pipeline and leveraging the enormous GMAC China pipeline. CONFERENCE FORMAT ENHANCEMENTS FOR RECRUITING BUSINESS MASTERS CANDIDATESEvery year, The MBA Tour’s registration has a substantial cross over among younger candidates for MBA programs with Business Masters programs. By way of example in our US events alone, about 20 percent of the registration is suitable for enrolling in Masters programs. Again this year, whenever Masters Programs from three universities register for any event, The MBA Tour will: 1. Organize information panels for Masters candidates2. Offer MeetUp for participating universities with Masters programs to invite candidates to meet with them3. Offer a separate table for a university with Masters programs4. Promote our event to candidates matching the demographic All universities with Masters programs must register 45 days in advance of an event to qualify for this offer. All Masters programs must have a profile on The MBA Tour’s website. Please inquire with your respective Account Manager for pricing. SOCIAL MEDIASocial media campaigns are an essential strategy for The MBA Tour’s event marketing and brand building. Creating relevant content encourages candidates to interact consistently with us on multiple platforms throughout the year. In 2019, The MBA Tour will offer an enhanced Social Media Product that will give universities direct access to MBA Tour registrants, website users, and social media followers. Universities can choose from three existing packages or work with us to create a customized package depending on need for content and outreach. 2019 packages consist of a combination of Boost Campaigns, Social Media Posts, E-Blasts, and/or custom content from our new partner, BusinessBecause. See pages 6 and 7 for more details.

DIFFERENTIATE YOUR BUSINESS SCHOOL BRAND

THROUGH OUR COMPREHENSIVE EVENT FORMATS

EVENT FORMATS

SCHOOL PRESENTATIONSAdmissions representatives regard the presentations as one of our most valuable conference formats. The presentations are an opportunity to showcase your unique program aspects to a group of prospective students. You have 25 minutes in a private room to highlight the features of your program. Typically there are three to five other universities presenting in concurrent sessions. Schools can utilize our MeetUp system to invite qualified candidates to their presentations. Individual School Presentations are offered at most conferences. USD 550 per presentation. PANEL PRESENTATIONSPanel Presentations cover valuable business school admissions topics and answer a wide range of MBA applicant questions. Schools have the opportunity to participate on the panels and share topic advice with a large group of prospective students. Panels are complimentary and any participating admissions representative can be a panelist; sign up online after registering for events. Topics in the past include: Preparing your Application: Advice from Admissions Directors, Financing your MBA, and different regional panels. The MBA Tour provides talking points for all panels. NETWORKING SESSIONThe session is strategically placed at the end of the MBA conferences. This allows candidates to first gather information from the School Presentations and Panels in order to prepare for speaking with you one-to-one. During the MBA Networking Session you and your alumni have the opportunity to meet with a large number of applicants in a short period of time. MS PROGRAM OPTIONSAgain in 2019 we are offering an MS Program panel allowing you to showcase your school’s MS programs. This option is available in all cities in which at least 3 different universities’ MS programs participate and is free of charge. Please note that event prices will be applied if an MS program chooses to have their own table or MeetUps.

MEETUPWe offer dedicated time and space for one-on-one and small group meetings with top candidates during our conferences. Pre-select and invite students to meet with you during the event using our enhanced search features and improved emailing flexibility. By using MeetUp, you can gain access to detailed candidate information: resume, student interest in your school, student intent to apply to your program, GMAT status, work experience and more. Use this comprehensive candidate information to help filter through to your ideal candidates! Again in 2019, you have the option to use The MBA Tour’s automated invitation system to invite students to MeetUp sessions. You can still manually invite students as well. USD 550 per event, or discounted to USD 250 when purchased with a school presentation. MEETUP NETWORKING EVENTSThe MeetUp Networking format includes panels, school presentations, and a room for one-to-one and small group MeetUps instead of a fair. This format is geared towards smaller conferences with 100-150 candidates and provides a more intimate environment for connecting with future applicants. You will use the MeetUp system to pre-select and invite candidates to meet with you at this event. For list of MeetUp Networking cities, see page 13. *Fair Events include Panels, School Presentations, MeetUps & MBA Fair

*MeetUp Events include Panels, MeetUps & Networking Session

The MBA Tour was founded in 1993, and made its inaugural tour in Latin America. The first tour had fairs, meetings, and workshops, and focused more on dialogue with candidates. The return for participating schools was very high. Many things have changed in the 25 years we have organized tours. Technology has made it possible for anyone with internet to find information about business schools, but our foundations have remained the same: facilitating personal interaction and connecting talented prospective MBA students and business schools through our tours.

2. LOCAL QUALIFICATIONS

TO PARTICIPATE IN A TOUR OR CONFERENCEBusiness schools interested in The MBA Tour must register and apply online: www.TheMBATour.com/join. MBA programs are selected on their quality, their commitment to international recruiting, services for international students, and the diversity (curriculum, philosophy, program cost, geography) that they would add to the tour. With few exceptions, the MBA programs included in our events are taught in English. OUR SELECTION PROCESSThe MBA Tour limits the number of business schools on a tour to ensure that each program has good exposure at our conferences and receives the same level of high service that we aim to provide. Priority is given to returning schools. New schools are selected on the basis of the following criteria: 1. BUSINESS SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVESRepresentatives attending the events organized by The MBA Tour must be full-time, campus-based professionals and should have extensive knowledge of their programs and admissions requirements. Throughout the tour, university representatives have the opportunity to collaborate in panels and school presentations that orient students and colleagues to current information and trends. It is important that the person designated by the university to travel with us be capable of contributing to an ongoing professional dialogue with prospective students and local colleagues about admissions issues and innovations in MBA programs.
