2006 - Construction of an automobile
and railway ferry complex with design
capacity of 2.9 million tons per year is completed.
2008 - Commissioning of the first phase
of the Multi-Purpose Terminal YUG-2 .

Official commissioning
of Smart Bulk Terminal intended
for fertilizer handling under a joint
project between the Ust-Luga
Commercial Sea Port, Phosagro
and Ultramar.
The design capacity of the terminal
is 1,5 million tons per year
and can be increased to 3 million
tons.

In the short-term outlook, the focus is
on extension of railway tracks at the
terminal
Ports of the Baltic Sea service European Russia where railways are the main transportation artery. We are planning to construct a new rail transshipping complex in the port in order to strengthen our competitive positions in cargo turnover among market participants. The aim is to increase terminal capacity in loading/unloading of up to 400 wagons per day.
