When using mobile devices, pre-planning has to be one of the first steps in how one is going to use the device to educate students.

Devices?

Are mobile devices an ITRT duty or Teacher duty?

The answer is it’s a shared responsibility. The wonderful part about mobile devices is that they can be used and set-up by either an ITRT or Teacher. Teachers should be working or communicating with his or her ITRT about technology set-up for the mobile devices.

With the use of mobile devices in schools, training is one of the major, if not the most important part aspects of implementing a successful program.

Training or information sharing, should be planned as early and often as possible, before any mobile devices even entering the building.

Parent Training Programs are also crucial to program success.
