This unit is designed for second grade students and will meet all learning styles

Unit will last six days

Unit will consist of worksheets, access to internet, presentations, and science cirrus.

Day 4: Weather Log, pencil, access to computer and internet, 2 Large, Jars, Matches, 2 Large Gloves, Food Coloring, Hot and Cold Water

Day 5: Weather bog, pencil, access to computer and internet, Season’s worksheet, Cloud Learning Wheel

I will be using this web site for the students to use after they have studied the clouds and they will be taking quiz where they will match the captions with the pictures of the clouds.

Group Students and research each season.

Present information on the seasons to the class.

Ask the students to describe the clouds they have seen in the sky.

Introduce the different types of clouds to the students by using: PowerPoint, Bulletin Board, Online Quiz.

Day Four: Cloud in a jar science experiment.› Using different variables to see if it will

make a differences in making a cloud (Color of water, temp. of water)

Students will present their information on the country they researched and compare their weather to our weather.
