Recientemente, casi por casualidad, escuché a Milagros Fernández (una feligresa nuestra) referirse a «Garabandal» como un lugar de apariciones marianas. Era la primera
vez que escuchaba ese nombre. Inexplicablemente tuve la extraña sensación de que se trataba de algo especial y que, por tanto, debía informarme al respecto. Esa misma noche comencé a indagar por internet. Encontré en YouTube una conferencia dictada en Pamplona en 2018 por el argentino Sr. Santiago Lanús, un laico católico que ha hecho de la difusión de la experiencia de Garabandal una verdadera misión. Quedé tan impactado que enseguida adquirí un libro publicado por el Sr. Lanús en 2017, titulado «Madre de Dios y Madre Nuestra», donde él describe en detalle las apariciones de Gara-bandal (1961-1965) y las conecta con las de Fátima (1917) y Amsterdam (1945-1959).
En dicho libro, el Sr. Lanús ofrece una de-scripción muy detallada de las apariciones y sucesos de Garabandal, que tuvieron por cen-tro a cuatro (4) niñas de entre 11 y 12 años de edad: Concepción (Conchita) González, María Dolores (Loli o Mari Loli) Mazón, Jacinta González y Mari Cruz González. No obstante compartir el mismo apellido las niñas no eran parientes entre sí. Todo comenzó el 18 de junio de 1961 a las 8:30 P.M. (aunque aún era de día por ser verano). Las niñas se encontraban en el sector denominado la Calleja comiendo unas manzanas que habían tomado del huerto del maestro del pueblo, se les apareció una figura hermosísima y luminosa, que más ad-elante les sería identificado como el Arcángel San Miguel. Las niñas entraron en un breve éxtasis. Esto se repetiría varias veces durante varios días, pero sin que el ángel pronunciara palabra.
No fue sino hasta el 1 de julio cuando el ángel les dijo que venía a anunciarles la visita de la Virgen, bajo la advocación de la Virgen del Carmen, al día siguiente (2 de julio). La Virgen se les apareció tal y como fue anunciado el domingo 2 de julio, pero en compañía no de uno sino de dos ángeles: San Miguel y San Gabriel (sería la misma Virgen quien revelaría a las niñas dicha información). A par-tir de entonces las niñas vivirían una verdadera experiencia de vida familiar con la Santísima Virgen durante el transcurso de unas dos (2) mil apariciones, todas documentadas y con numerosos testigos y numerosos hechos sobrenaturales.
Recently, almost by chance, I heard Ms. Milagros Fernández (a parishioner) referring to “Garabandal” as a place of Marian apparitions. It was the first time I had ever heard
that name. For reasons unknown to me I had the strange feeling that it was something rather unique and that therefore I should inform myself about it. That same night I started searching the internet. I found on YouTube a lecture given in Pamplona in 2018 by the Argentine Mr. Santiago Lanús, a lay Catholic who has made
the dissemination of the Garabandal experi-ence a true mission. I was so shocked that I immediately acquired a book published by Mr. Lanús in 2017, entitled “Madre de Dios y Madre Nuestra”, where he describes in detail the apparitions of Garabandal (1961-1965) and connects them with those of Fátima (1917 ) and Amsterdam (1945-1959).
In this book, Mr. Lanús offers a very detailed description of the apparitions and events in Garabandal, which were centered on four (4) girls between 11 and 12 years of age: Con-cepción (Conchita) González, María Dolores
(Loli or Mari Loli) Mazón, Jacinta González and Mari Cruz González. Despite sharing the same last name, the girls were not related to each other. It all started on June 18, 1961 at 8:30 P.M. (although it was still daylight because it was summer). The girls were in the area called the Calleja eating some apples that they had taken from the master’s garden of the town, a very beautiful and luminous figure appeared to them, who later would be identified as the Archangel San Miguel. The girls were briefly ecstatic. This would be repeated several times over several days, but without the angel saying a word.
It was not until July 1 when the angel told them that he was coming to announce the visit of the Virgin, under the invocation of the Virgen del Carmen, the following day (July 2). The Virgin appeared to them as announced on Sunday, July 2, but in the com-pany of not one but two angels: Saint Michael and Saint Gabriel (it would be the Virgin herself who would reveal this information to the girls). From then on, the girls would live a true experience of family life with the Blessed Virgin during the course of some two (2) thousand apparitions, all documented and with numerous witnesses and numerous supernatural events.

¿Tienen ahí algo que comer? Ellos le ofrecieron un trozo de pez asado. Él lo tomó y comió delante de ellos. Y les dijo: “Esto es lo que os decía mientras estaba con ustedes: que todo lo escrito en la ley de Moisés y en los profetas y salmos acerca de mí, tenía que cumplirse” (Lucas 24, 41-44)
He asked them, “Have you anything here to eat?” They gave him a piece of baked fish; he took it and ate it in front of them. He said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled.” (Luke 24, 41-44)
En este tercer domingo de Pascua, el evangelio de san Lucas nos habla de la aparición de Jesús Resucitado
a los discípulos en Jerusalén. Los dos discípulos que venían de Emaús contaron a los once la experiencia del encuentro con Jesús al partir el pan. Mientras hablaban se les apareció Jesús con el saludo de la paz. Ellos llenos de miedo pensaban que era un fantasma. Jesús les mostró las manos y el costado. Luego pidió algo de comer y le dieron un pescado asado. Jesús les explica que todo lo es-crito por la Ley de Moisés, los salmos y los profetas tenía su pleno cumplimien-to en él. De esta manera, los discípulos comprendieron mucho mejor las escrituras y creyeron en Jesús.
En este domingo en el evangelio de Lucas se nos narra de nuevo la aparición de Jesús a sus discípulos el día domingo o primer día de la semana. Fruto del encuentro con el Resucitado es la paz interior que despeja todo miedo. También otro de los frutos es el encuentro de Jesús en la Eucaristía, ya que Jesús les dice que le den algo de comer. El encuentro con el Resucitado permite el entendimiento de las escrituras para comprender más quién es Jesús. Lo que está escrito en el Antiguo Testamento es promesa que tiene su pleno cumplimiento en Jesús muerto y Resucitado. La experiencia de la Resurrección nos compromete a predicar como dice Jesús: “la conversión y el perdón de los pecados a todos los pueblos”. De manera que la experiencia de la resurrección no se queda encerrada en sí misma. La experiencia con Jesús resucitado nos lleva a compartirla con los demás mediante la misión y la evangelización.
La iglesia tiene la misión de llevar el mensaje de Jesús a todos los pueblos de la tierra. Esta misión es llevada a cabo por la fuerza viva de la Resurrección del Señor. La Resurrección es la fuerza que nos impulsa a vivir con entusiasmo y alegría los retos que nos presenta la vida. En medio de las dificultades y luchas diarias, sentimos la paz interior que Jesús nos da. Por eso, no tenemos miedo y proclamamos ante el mundo que: “Cristo ha resucitado”
On this third Sunday of Easter, the Gospel of Saint Luke tells us of the appearance of the
Risen Jesus to the disciples in Jerusalem. Two disciples who returned from Emmaus told “the Eleven” of experiencing the Risen Lord in the breaking of the bread. While they were talking, Jesus appeared to them and gave a greeting of peace. They were full of fear and thought that he was a ghost. Jesus showed them his hands and his side.
Then he asked for something to eat and they gave him a grilled fish. Jesus explained to them that everything written in the Law, the psalms, and the prophets had their full fulfillment in him. In this way, the disciples understood the scriptures much better and believed in Jesus.
On this Sunday in the Gospel of Luke we are again told of the appearance of Jesus to his disciples on Sunday, the first day of the week.
The fruit of the encounter with the Risen One is an inner peace that clears all fear. Another fruit is our encounter of Jesus in the Eucharist. Our encounter with the Risen Christ deepens our understanding of the scriptures and their fulfillment in the Risen Christ. What is written in the Old Testament is a promise that has its fulfillment in the dead and Risen Jesus. The experience of the Resurrection commits us to preach as Jesus says: “the conversion and forgiveness of sins to all peoples.” The resurrection experience is not self-contained. This experience of the Risen Jesus impels to invite others through mission and evangelization.
The church has the mission of carrying the message of Jesus to all the peoples of the earth. This mission is carried out by all of us baptized into the death and resurrection. The Resurrection is the force that impels us to live with enthusiasm and joy amidst the challenges that life presents us. In our daily difficulties and struggles, we know the inner peace that Jesus gives and sustains within us. For this reason, we are not afraid and we proclaim before the world with full vigor: “Christ is risen”.

Los Cursillos nacieron a raíz de la necesidad de que las personas (afectadas en ese entonces en España por una guerra civil) volvieran a Cristo.
Comenzó con una peregrinación de cien mil jóvenes a Santiago de Compostela dirigida por un joven llamado Eduardo Bonnin y apoyado por diversas autoridades eclesiales.
Tuvo una época de dificultades y oposiciones, pero por la Gracia de Dios y la fuerza del Espíritu Santo, se ha mantenido impulsando a muchísimos hermanos y hermanas a través del mundo entero
a un encuentro íntimo y personal con Cristo Jesús, nuestro Señor.
¿Qué es Cursillo de Cristiandad?Es un Movimiento de la lglesia Católica. Como su nombre lo indica,
es un curso corto de Cristiandad. El Cursillo tiene tres etapas: 1. Pre-Cursillo 2. Cursillo 3. Pos-Cursillo
La primera etapa, el Pre-Cursillo, es una preparación para la vivencia de la segunda etapa, que es el Cursillo, y que consta de tres encuentros:
1. El encuentro con Cristo 2. El encuentro con uno mismo 3. El encuentro con los demás
Durante el proceso del Pre-Cursillo cultivamos una amistad con el candidato o la candidata que continuará durante el Cursillo
y después del Cursillo, o sea, en el Pos-Cursillo.
