Graduation Requirements
University & Campus-Wide Requirements 180 quarter credits Entry Level Writing Requirement (ELWR) American History & Institutions Requirement (AH&I): Many students satisfy
w/classes taken during high school or transfer credit College Requirement: College Core Course: CRWN 80A or 80B Pass/No Pass Grades: No more than 25% of your UCSC credits can be graded
P/NP. Check with college & major advisers before selecting P/NP grading option
2.0 GPA: Must have a minimum 2.0 UC GPA (Only UC courses including courses taken at another UC campus)
Senior Residency: Must be registered at UCSC for at least 3 terms and 35 of your final 45 credits must be taken at UCSC.

• Read syllabus for each course carefully Know the rules!
• Make a plan to study for each course everyday
• Complete reading/assignments BEFORE the lecture
• Review lecture notes almost immediately AFTER each class
• Get Connected & USE resources• Start early! Quarters move fast!
Procrastination is a road block!• If you fail, learn from your
mistakes and ask for help• Remember it is OK to try
something to see if you like it• It is OK to change your mind
about your major
