Story SummaryThis week I read about Pink Dolphins in the Amazon River. The Amazon river hold many interesting facts that affect the way
people and animals live there. It is the biggest river in the world. It floods during the rainy season. It has such a dense forest that many interesting animals live there.
The Pink Dolphin in an interesting creature. It swims slowly in the river as it feeds. It doesn’t have a back fin and is hard to see since the water is so murky. It has a flexible body so that it can maneuver around the Amazon. It uses echolocation to see it’s way around the river.
There are many dangers in the Amazon. There are poisonous snakes so you must be wary. Poisonous spiders exist so you must keep your eyes peeled! In the Amazon, poisonous trees and plants exist so you must be careful where you place your hands. There are many poisonous bugs and ants so don’t pick up any logs if you don’t want to get bit!
