Geographic Location:

Jordan is located at the junction of Europe, Asia and Africa with an area of 89.348 thousand km2 with nature varies between Vostha plateaus, mountains, and northern plains of the desert which stretches east towards Iraq and Saudi Arabia, while Jordan River flowing through the Jordan Valley-fertile borders of West Jordan-into the Dead Sea, this body of water which is at the lowest spot in the world, with a depth of 400 m below sea level. Further south, there is the port of Aqaba, which provides an outlet to the Red Sea.

Climate: Dry weather prevails Jordan moderate temperatures with a range of 7 to 10 degrees Celsius in the winter during the month of January in Amman, and 23 to 27 degrees Celsius during the month of June. The average rainfall ranges from less than 50 mm to over 600 mm in some areas of the country. Amman, which rises 950 meters, Known with its moderate nights even in the mid of summer.
