Types of Sketches Character Based

• Some sketches are just an excuse to get a strong character on stage.

• You can show them doing just about anything – going to the bank, out on a date, or at work.

• The more depth you give your character (many qualities not just one) the more potential that character will have.

• Think of characters as real people Give all characters names Don’t let any characters be throw-away material Don’t make characters so extreme that they distract the

audience
