ADVISING: REQUIREMENTS
• Major/ Core Requirements
• 124 semester units – 40 upper division units
• 24 of the last 30 units completed at VU
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
• In order to participate in commencement you can’t have more than 4 units outstanding (to be completed by end of summer term).

REGISTRATION
• Dates: November 9th-13th
• Seniors are given priority to register for classes on Monday November 9th.
• Meet with your Academic Advisor to confirm your schedule for the Spring semester.
• Make sure you have taken care of any necessary holds prior to your registration date.

• Off Campus units should only be those that we have not received transcripts for and have not been applied to your program.

GRAD CHECKThe Registrar’s Office will review your application once Fall grades have been recorded• be sure all transcripts are on file
• be sure all substitution/waiver forms are on file
• be sure to submit minor petition(s) to the department of your minor
• APPROVED: You will receive an
“On Target” email in mid-January
• NOT APPROVED: You will receive
a “Missing” email in mid-January.
If you are missing something, take
care of it as soon as possible.

OFFICE OF ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS
• Take care of any and all payments or financial issues• If you receive correspondence from the OAO re: balance or other financial issues respond as soon as possible. • Make sure Perkins Exit Interview is
completed (if applicable).• Account balances must be paid in full by
April 1st
Failing to take care of financial issues will prevent you from participating in commencement, receiving transcripts and your diploma.
