Exciting new projects for the City of Fowler: Please pardon our dust! As you may have noticed, there are several new projects now in progress in the City of Fowler. A new Jack-in-the-Box Restaurant is now under construction near 10th and Fresno Streets, next to the Valley Childrens/Adventist Health Medical Center. The new Somerset Crossing subdivision project - located at Sumner and Sunnyside Avenue, is now under construction. The project will include 99 new single family homes constructed by Woodside Homes. The new Marshall Estates subdivision project - located on Adams and Armstrong Avenues, is under construction, by KB Homes, Inc. The project will bring in 80 new single family homes and includes a park within the subdivision.

The City is beginning a street repaving project on Main Street from 7th to 3rd Streets. Included will be new ADA curbs and ramps for pedestrian access. The City is very pleased to announce the new restroom facility under construction at Panzak Park. The project will completely replace restrooms that were many decades old, with brand new, ADA accessible and modern, well designed facilities. The project should be complete by early March. In addition to these projects, the City will soon be doing Phase I and II of street improvements and repaving along Adams Avenue, from 3rd Street to Temperance Avenue. We also have some exciting and innovative new recreation events coming our way – to be conducted with Covid safety in mind. An Easter event/Scavenger Hunt is in the works, to be held on Saturday, March 27, 2020. Please go to our website or mobile app to register for the event. To ensure our citizens are staying informed on city news and events, the City has launched a new mobile phone application where you can receive event notification. To download the app, go to your app store and search “City of Fowler”. You can also easily contact city officials with the use of this new app.

The most recent project, we are so proud of, is the brand new Fire Station. Completed at the end of 2020. Stay tuned! Virtual tours to follow. We hope that these new projects and events will continue to make Fowler the great place it is to live and work. Jeannie Davis City Manager City of Fowler
