1. First, when you go to the website, you will see the page below, and if you don’t see this page click on the musictheory.net link at the top of the page, highlighted by the red box, it will always take you back to the home page.

2. Next, you can explore! For music lessons, simply click on the LESSONS button at the top of the page, highlighted by the white circle. It will then redirect you to another page with a long list of topics that have lessons to go along with them.

3. After going to the lessons page, you can click on one of the lessons of your choice, depending on what you are looking for. It will redirect you to another page usually with a staff, a piano, and some interactive bullet points at the bottom of the page, highlighted by the black box. Remember what appears on the page depends on the lesson you choose.

4. Then, you can click on one of the bullet points, and a little information about the bullet will pop up on the screen, highlighted by the black box, as shown below. Keep in mind that the information that pops up will differ depending on the bullet and the lesson.

5. Next, you can go back to the home page and click on the EXERCISES button at the top of the page, highlighted by the white circle.

6. When you click on one of the exercises, a page with a staff and notes will pop up and you have a certain time to answer the question, you must choose the correct choice that matches with the sound or picture on the screen.

7. For specific settings, you can click on two buttons, you can click the button, highlighted by the black box.

You can also click the on/off button , highlighted by the black box, to get to some more personal settings, to make your experience better.

You can also click the piano, button at the top right, highlighted by the black box, to get access to an interactive piano for more ear training help. The interactive piano is highlighted by the black oval.

8. To get to some helpful tools, go back to the previous page and click on the TOOLS button in the top middle of the page, highlighted by the white oval. You will then have a list of different pages to help you improve your music skills.

9. There is an accidental calculator, interval calculator, chord calculator, analysis calculator, matrix calculator, chord checker, tempo taper, staff paper generator, and pop up piano.

10. To get to products for this website, simply click on the PRODUCTS button at the top of the page, highlighted by the white oval.

11. To get up to date news, simply click on the news button at the top of the page, highlighted by the white oval.

12. To contact the website, click the CONTACT button in the top right hand corner of the page, highlighted by the white oval, and type in your name, your email address, the subject of discussion, and your question, comment, or concern in the boxes below.
