SUBJf,CT ADDITIONAL ROUTES ALLOWED FOR TITE OPERATIONOF TRADITIONAL PUJ YEIIICLES DURING TIIE PERIOI)OF' GCQ IN METRO MANILA AIID ENTERING METROMANILA

WHEREAS' pursrxmt to the guidelines of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for acalibrated and gradual opening of public transportation in Metro Manila and those in nearbyprovinces, the Board has since then made the necessary monitoring on the daily operations of theinitial routes allowed to operate;

WIIEREAS, under Item II.b. of MC 2AZA-026,the Board may issue additional routes to resumeoperations based on passenger demand;

WHEREAS, based on the monitoring and coordination with locat government units in MetroManila, there is a continuous need to open additional routes for traditional PUJs to servepassenger demand;

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing, the Board herehy allows theadditional routes (attached as AI\lhlEX "A") for traditional PUJs to operate *i6in MehoManila and entering Metro Manila starting 10 FEBRUARY 2021 or as may be allowed by theInter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EIF).

This Circular shall covet grantees of vatid and existing Certificate of Pgblic Convenience (CpC)for Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJ) or that Application for Extension of Yalidity of CpC has beenfiled for expired CPCs operating in the National Capital Region. Operators"with expired CpCcovered by the provisions of Board Resolution No. 062 Series of 20i0 dated 29 Aprii 2020 andBoard ResolutionNo. 100 dated 09 May 2a2a arelikewise covered.

While the PUJs will be plying modified routes as indicated in Annex *A,,, NO SPECIALPERMIT is necessary prior to their operation. In lieu of the Special Permit, the correspondingQR CODE shall be issued to the operator prior to operation. Said QR Code shall bedownloaded at www.ltfrb.eov.ph and which mult be printed by the op"*utoi (size : g.5,k 11.short bond paper) and displayed conspicuously by th" op*rutor in the front windshield ofauthorized unit (without affecting view of the driver).

Those PUJs found to operate in routes not included in Annex "A', herein will be apprehendedaccordingly. Further, for PUJs operating under routes listed in Annex '0A", preference shall begiven to those who have consolidated or have filed their Petition for Consoiidation. For thosewho have not yet consolidated, they should submit an undertaking to consolidate not later than31 March Z}2lprior to operation. The undertaking shall be lubmitted through email attechnical@ltfrb.sov.ph (for Central office routes) oi puvmp.pmo.ncr@gmail.cori (for NCRroutes).

The provisions in Memorandum Circular 2A20-A26 dated 30 June 2020 shall be applicableherein.

All issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby superseded and amended accordingly.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect following its publication in a at least one (1)newspaper of general circulation. Let three (3) copies hereof be filed with the Uplaw Center -Office of National Administrative Registrar (ONAR).
