IntroductionThe movie is made by a famous Japanese filmmaker Miyazaki Hayao. It’s the movie of the late 1980s, but with other Miyazaki’s movie, in which the little witch’s longing for the sea, tolerance and concern among people, and the elderly insist on old oven……We can see Mizayaki’s keeping with the principle of adherence to a filmmaker. In fact, talking about the nostalgia for the bygone era, that’s about nature and a kind of cultural preservation respect and revealed the love of painting and respect for the memory of history.

Character Introduction

Kiki, a 13 year old trainee little witch who leaves from her homeland to learn how to be independent. She’s a naïve and lively girl, but easy to be shy.

Jiji, Kiki’s black cat, which can communicate with her.

Lily, Jiji’s wife. They met at Visby, where Kiki lives.

Clip, he is interested in all the things relate to fly. The first eyes see Kiki flying on the sky, this made him wants to get in touch with her. And later they become friends.

Sona, a kind wife of a bakery shopkeeper. She gives a hand to Kiki who has no where to live when she has arrived at the city Crick.

WuLu, who lives in the forest and loves to paint. At Kiki’s flying delivery, she dropt a client’s fake little black cat, Lulu found it. Lulu is also an important person to Kiki when her magic power suddenly die away.

Plot IntroductionKki is a 13 year old trainee witch. According to

family tradition, this is the time she should leave her home to a new city to conduct an

independent new life, and practice to become a full witch. She used her mother’s broom, with her closest companion cat, Jiji, setting out to

carry out her new life.

Plot IntroductionKiki then moved into a beautiful seaside city ”Crick”. At first she cannot adapt to

the pace of life of the city, and later in the bakery of the female owner Sona’s help, Kiki uses a broom flying expertise, opened a courier

she lost all the magic of a sudden.

friend, a young painter WuLu’s help, Kiki overcomes thses

obstacles and those unkown confusions.

During the accident in a apacecraft, in order

to save her friend Clip, in the nick of time , she regained the ability to

fly and saved him.

In the movie, I see Kiki’s brave and independent ability, also her pure spirit. Being a great witch might not be that easy at all, she got lots to learn, to grow, and to be with each other. It’s just like the society works, I got a

lots to learn ,too.
