Formerly Latergram, Later is an online scheduler for Instagram. Later allows you to plan and schedule out your posts from your computer, then sends it to your mobile with an alert at the time you select. Easy-peasy!

Want to make a video of yourself or a tutorial video from your computer but have no clue where to start? I use Screencast-O-Matic to film recordings of presentations or videos for prospective clients. It’s dirt cheap (free or paid version is $15/year), and you can record either your screen or yourself on your webcam. Plus, all the editing tools are built in, and super simple to use!

Let’s face it … nice images are so crucial for an online business. Canva has made the process easy for you, with built-in templates, word designs, and fancy fonts. They even have stock images that

you can purchase for $1 (a total steal!). Canva has been dubbed “photoshop for non-photoshop users”, and it’s easy to see why.

Yep, you’re reading right. There’s TWO picture editing tools on this list. While Canva is a great editing tool for beginners, PicMonkey has a much wider range of functionality (including the ability to add in your own font … including ones downloaded on the web!). I use PicMonkey on a regular basis and love their step-by-step tutorials on their blog for creating fancy graphics!

Want to show your website or product in the hands of someone? PlaceIt allows you to create mockups using a foolproof method … you simply drag whatever image you want OR you can even grab a screenshot from a URL. There’s thousands of mockup scenarios to choose from!

The first step is to set up an email management system. Enter LeadPages, a software program that integrates with MailChimp (or any other email management system), and gives you hundreds of templates that are fully customizable to your business. I love LP and use it all the time. In fact … you’ll encounter LeadPages pop-ups all over my website (wherever there’s an email opt-in, you’ll see a LP box).

Elegant Themes creates premium, beautiful WordPress themes. If you have your own WordPress website (if not … you should!), or you’ve tried to create one in the past, you may

Momentum is a Google Chrome extension that gives you a personalized dashboard complete with your name, inspirational quote, impressive background image, and any To-Do tasks that you provide. It’s a great way to remind yourself to stay focused while working online.

Hello Bar is a tool to help improve the effectiveness of your website. It’s a bar that you set up to place at the top of your website, and you can configure it to collect email addresses, promote a specific piece of content, or even display follow buttons for social media channels. Plus, Hello Bar tracks all of the clicks so that you can analyze what’s working best on the bar.

Bitly gives you a simple way to manage your links. Want to share your latest blog post with someone but worry they won’t remember the long URL? Turn it into a bitly link! Bitly shortens the link, then you can use their dashboard to measure individual link analytics. Bitly is especially helpful for shortening links for Twitter and Instagram.

Fiverr is more of a resource than a tool, but it’s an important one to remember and bookmark for your business! Let’s face it … you don’t have the time to do EVERYTHING in your biz, but you also may be short on cash. Enter Fiverr, the online hub where you can search for a gig to be completed for as low as five bucks. While Fiverr isn’t the best place for big jobs, it’s the perfect solution for smaller projects, like logo designs, photoshop help, website tweaks, etc.
