ENGLISH1. Compose poems based on the given themes- nature, friendship and country-or of your choice.2. Write short stories (value based) in not more than 200 words.3. Read the daily newspaper and prepare a record of it.4. Do daily diary entry.5. Learn words from the dictionary every day and maintain a record.6. Revise the Chapters taught in the class .

MATHEMATICS1. Revision of work done in class in practice copy.2. Make a chart representing families of numbers such as rational numbers, fractional, integers, whole

Numbers, natural numbers, prime numbers, even and odd numbers.3. Make a mask of thick paper using different geometrical shapes like circles, triangles, rectangles, squares,

rhombus ,Parallelograms etc.4. Learn and write tables from 12 to 25 and squares from 2 to 205. Write biography of two famous Indian mathematicians and their contribution.6. Write more than five interesting facts related to mathematics.7. Write Twin prime numbers between 1 and 150.8. Make a magic square of 4x4. (In a magic square the sum of digits of each row, each column and eachdiagonal is same)9. Write properties of different types of quadrilaterals (square, rectangle, trapezium, parallelogram, rhombusetc.) and draw their figures also.

2. Procure outline maps of India and world. Find out and mark the places on the map where you find animals ~that provide wool. Use different colours to denote the location for different wool yielding animals.

Social science1. Make a list of emergency measures that you will take at the time of earthquake in notebook.2. Make a collage with at least ten photograph of different monument of the medieval period.3. Complete pages 9,10,12,15,18,47,51,53 and 55 of map explorer.4. Prepare a report with pictures on recent devastation caused by the natural disaster on A4 size sheet.5. Write biography of Nelson Mandela OR Dr B.R Ambedkar6. Prepare any useful product using discarded material.7. Learn for PA 1(HISTORY L-l, CIVICS L-l, GEO L-l ) INCLUDING ALL EXERCISES.

SCIENCE1. Visit a doctor and find out: i) Under what conditions does a patient need to be on a drip of glucose?ii) When does a patient need to be given glucose? iii) How does glucose help the patient recover? And ifdoctor is not nearby to treat patient, how will you help patient to recover. Mention first aid and home remedies.Write the findings on an A4 sheet and paste in your notebook.

3. Make a poster on A4 sheet generating awareness to 'SAVE WATER or SAVE ENVIROMENT'.
