Suhana to star in short filmLondon,

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, who recently graduated from Ardingly College in London,is all set to make her acting debut in the English short film,“The Grey Part Of Blue”. “The Grey Part Of Blue” is directedby Suhana’s classmate Theo Gimeno.

Gimeno shared thefilm’s poster onInstagram, which fea-tures Suhana. Apartfrom the star kid, themovie stars RobinGonnella. Earlier,Suhana had played thelead in a theatrical per-formance, and now alleyes are set on herscreen debut.

“I don’t think therewas any one momentwhen I decided (to be-come an actor). Since Iwas young, I’d do allthese accents and impressions. But my parents only realisedI was serious about acting when they saw a performanceof mine for the first time. I was playing Miranda in a schoolperformance of ‘The Tempest’. There’s so much to learn, andone way to do it is to start [working] early, but first I want togo to university and finish studies,” Suhana had earlier tolda magazine, expressing her love for acting.

Ekta Kapoor show on Nanavaticase 75 per cent real: Viraf Patel

Mumbai, Actor Viraf Phiroz Patel, who will be seen playing a piv-

otal role in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming web show “The Ver-dict: State Vs Nanavati”, says the show maintains a properbalance between reality and fiction.

“The Verdict: State Vs Nanavati” is based on the 1959case of KM Nanavati versus the State of Maharashtra. It in-volved the murder of a man called Prem Ahuja by NavalCommander Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati due to theformer’s sexual relationship with his wife. The AkshayKumar-starrer “Rustom” was broadly based on the case. Inthe Ekta Kapoor show, Viraf will portray the role of Prem.

“After my first reading session with the creators anddirector, I asked them about how much fiction and realitywould be there in the show. I was told it’s about 75 per centreal and 25 per cent fiction, in order to convey reality effec-tively. There are several moments in the script that mademe think, ‘wow, this actually happened in my country’. Iguess that’s an interesting aspect of being part of true sto-ries that are interesting to watch,” Viraf told IANS.

“‘The Verdict...’ may be about a court case in 1959, butthe writing quietly casts doubt on our progress as a coun-try and society at large. Apart from being an engaging storytold craftily, it also has some really valuable questions re-garding women’s rights and plight in there,” he added.

The show also features actors Angad Bedi and Elli Avramin the key roles.

company LANXESS is ontrack despite the weakereconomy and geopoliticaluncertainties and can lookback on a stable secondquarter. EBITDA preexceptionals declined onlyslightly by 1.4 percent toEUR 286 million, nearlyreaching the figure of thestrong prior-year quarter ofEUR 290 million.

Due in particular to theweak demand from the au-tomotive industry, sales vol-umes declined in the Engi-neering Materials and Spe-cialty Additives segments. Inaddition, earnings were bur-dened by a weak chromeore business. However, thisdevelopment was nearlyoffset by the company’sstable portfolio and advan-tageous exchange-rate ef-fects, especially from thestrong U.S. dollar. TheEBITDA margin preexceptionals remainedstable at 15.8 percent after15.9 percent in the prior-year quarter.

“Our strategic transfor-mation and more stable po-sition are paying off – espe-cially in these economicallyuncertain times. We deliv-ered good results again inthe second quarter and con-
