Subject: - Providing details of addition made to Fixed Assets during FY 2018-19.
As per the provisions of the Companies Act 2013, Iixed Assets Register (FAR) is
required to be maintained showing quantity, value and location wise data along with full particulars.
The statutory auditors are commenting on the non-maintenance of proper record pertaining to fixed
assets in their reports.
PSERC has also not passed full depreciation in the past tariff orders due to non-
compliance of maintenance of Fixed Assets Register.
To avoid the observation of statutory auditors and PSERC, it has been decided to prepare
unit wise Fixed Asset Register now onwards showing full particulars of assets including quantitative
details and location of assets. To attain this purpose, performas (abstract as well as component wise)
have been designed for maintenance Fixed Assets Register.
Therefore, it is requested that all officers working under your control be advised to go
through the performas and the additions made to the Fixed Assets from 01.04.2018 to 31-10-2018 be
provided to this office by the 26h of November,2018 positively. The additions made during the F.Y.
2018-19 in complete form should invariably be sent to this office along with the March 2019 TrialBalance on the enclosed performas.
