Two Point Perspective

Page 2: Divide your paper horizontally at one third from the top and mark two vanishing points at each end of the line

Divide your paper horizontally at one third from the top and mark two vanishing points at each end of the line.

Horizon Line with Vanishing Points

Page 3: Divide your paper horizontally at one third from the top and mark two vanishing points at each end of the line

Construction Lines are used for placement and need to be drawn lightly as parts of the line will be erased latter. Add a vertical construction line one quarter from the right of the page.

Construction Lines

Page 4: Divide your paper horizontally at one third from the top and mark two vanishing points at each end of the line

The two vanishing points are at each end of the horizon line. Pick a top and bottom point on your first construction line. This will determine the height of your first building. Then draw connecting construction lines.

Connecting to Vanishing Points

Page 5: Divide your paper horizontally at one third from the top and mark two vanishing points at each end of the line

Draw construction lines for two streets, two sidewalks, and curbs for each. This is a total of three additional construction lines.

Adding a Street and Sidewalk

Page 6: Divide your paper horizontally at one third from the top and mark two vanishing points at each end of the line

Remember as distance increases, space decreases in the drawing, This happens in height as well as from foreground to background. Draw construction lines accordingly. Complete both sides.
