We will pursue this vision through training and education, growth and transformation, and peace and justice in our congregations, communities, and world. It is made up of the officers of the mission area, twelve lay-persons (one from each of twelve conferences), six ordained ministers, and two youth (one male and one female). We are Jesus’ disciples communicating God’s vision to this Mission Area. Guiding Principles

Following the Purpose Statement, the NT-NL Mission Council will: Live our faith in community through prayer and worship.

1) Study scripture to learn God’s Good News for our mission area. 2) Learn to identify ways to proclaim Jesus is Lord and convey these to the people of the mission

area through area-wide activities and in conferences and congregations. 3) Lead with justice and reconciliation for the voiceless and powerless, noting the needs and
