merged in pursuance of lhe recommendations of the 6'h Centrol Poy Commrssion,

This CAt provides. infer-alio, that the status of q government servont os on

29.8.2008 including thos*r who hoye earned promotion between 1.1.2006 and

?g.Ag.ZAAB will be prorected as appointment/promotions ore mode os Per the

provisions of the recr^uitmenl rules opplicoble to the post/grode.

6. Accordrngly, if hcs been decided thqt in coses where promotion took place

in the pre-revised pay structure during the period between 1.1.2006 ond the date

of notificotion of CCS(RP) Rules, 2OO8 when the pre-revrsed ond revised pay

scales rwere. different and rhe posts corried the charocter of feeder and

promotionoi grades, pay fixation 0n sqch promotion shall be qllowed uhder Rule 13

of rhe CCS(RP) Rules, aOOB, subject to fhe f,ollowing conditions::'

(i) The promotion hod tcrken place between 1,.1.2006 ond the dote of

for the feeder grode from where the promotion took place ond where

the posts were subseguently merged in a single posl/grade consequent

upon promulgo?ion of the CCS(RP) Rules. 2008.
