TERMS AND CONDITION(FOR E-AUCTION OF FANCY NUMBERS REGTSTRATTON)

1. Fancy numbers registration may be reserved by any person who has madepayments through the portal htlos://oarivahan.sov.irlfancv in ONLINE MODE.

2. Applicant has to select only the RTO in whose jurisdiction he presently resides orhaving place of business. Applicant needs to submit the address proof as per rule

(4) of Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989 or any document declared as proof by

the Govemment of Puducheny for registration of motor vehicle from time to time.

If the residence or place of business of the applicant does not fall in thejurisdiction of selected RTO, then the fancy number so reserved shall be cancelled

and the amount paid shall be forfeited.

3. The Registration numbers reserved aforesaid shall not be transferable or allottedto any other person except to the person to which the number is reserved to be

assigned.

4. It is the responsibility of the applicant to safeguard the user name and password.He/ She shall not share them to anybody.

5. The fancy number so reserved shall be allotted by respective RegisteringAuthority (RTO) on production ofe-receipt along with application in Form 20 and

necessary documents attached therewith.

6. If for any reason, the vehicle for which a particular number has been reserved isnot produced for registration within a period of one month from the date ofreservation of the number, such reservation shall cease to have effect and the right

of the person in whose favour the number is reserved shall be cancelled and the

amount will be forfeited.

7. The successful bidder has to pay the balance amount within the stipulated periodof three days succeeding the date of completion of auction failing which the

amount paid will be forfeited and the communication will be sent to the second

highest bidder giving opportunity to pay the balance amount within three days

from the date olreceipt o I communication.

8. Each bid will in multiples ofRupees thousand above the base price.9. After the completion of the auction process the reservation for the remaining

numbers of fancy registration number and Choice Fancy registration Number will

be allotted only through the portal https://parivahan.gov.inifanc), in online mode -through the option First Come First Serve.

10. The unsuccessful bidder will be refunded to the bank account from where thepayment was made after the completion of auction process. The letter ofindemnity in twenty rupees stamp paper in the prescribed format have to be

submitted to the concemed RTO for refund.

11. In case of any dispute the decision of the Transport Commissioner, Puducherry

will be final.

12. The Transport Commissioner, Puducherry reserves the right to accept or reject any

or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
