Welcome to the 2018 Winfield Summer Arts & Activities Guide.

Whether it’s culinary arts, architectural drawing, crocheting and sewing, origami, paper-mache masks, or clay and sculpture, your child will have fun and benefit from these hands-on programs.

WAHC believes it is important for students to continue to build on their cognitive skills throughout the Summer with activities that challenge and stimulate them. Our classes are designed to sharpen students abilities in fine motor skills, language development, decision making and creative thinking. Students participate in craft activities to learn how to follow directions and mimic patterns, but they also engage in the arts to learn how to experiment and express themselves.

Class sizes are limited to provide personalized attention and focused direction, and to maximize thebenefits of each class. Enrollment will begin on Saturday, May 19th at the Winfield Recreation Center from 8-10:00 a.m. Phone in and walk in registration will begin on Tuesday, May 22nd. All classes are filled on a first come/first served basis.
