the past participle.
The perfect tense of -er verbs 1
The perfect tense is used to talk about completed actions in the past. The perfect tense has two parts:
La souris a mangé le fromage.
To form the past participle of regular -er verbs, remove the -er and add -é:
auxiliary past participle
manger mangé
