Surabaya to Ijen-Blawan-Bromo Sunrise & Sunset 4D

Tour itinerary: Day 01: Trip from Malang or Surabaya to Ijen Crater Hotel Start from airport, train’s station or hotel in Malang or Surabaya (please let us know where we have to meet you), our staff will meet you then escort you to the small town of Banyuwangi regency where Ijen Crater Located. The

journey takes approximately 7-8 hours by private car with air conditioned with possible stops en route for having lunch at local restaurant on the way. On this trip, you will pass rural landscape, small city, plantations, rainforest & beaches. Upon your arrival Banyuwangi, you will stay overnight at Ketapang Indah Hotel or similar hotel before enjoy Ijen Crater Trekking on the next morning.

Day 02: Ijen Crater & Blawan Waterfall Tours then drive to Bromo Hotel Wake up in the dawn time (around at 04:00 am) and then you will meet with our staff at the lobby of your hotel to drive to reach to the Paltuding by passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining rain forest in Java Island with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately 1 hour from your hotel by private car Paltuding is well known as post 1 (base camp) or starting point for Ijen expedition tour and climbing or trekking tour activities to the slope of Mount Ijen. Arrive in the parking in Paltuding which is located on the slope Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 - 2 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater ( it is depend on the your condition) and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady.

Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as

80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth.

After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area in Paltuding base camp where our vehicle is waiting to escort you to continue our trip to reach Blawan waterfall for about 1.5 - 2 hours driving. The blawan waterfall is also known by local people as mini niagara Blawan waterfall. Blawan Waterfall is located in Kalianyar village,

Sempol district. It is about 52 km of Bondowoso town. Blawan Waterfall is the continuation of Kali Pahit River, which is also the disposal place of the water from Kawah Ijen, which contains of much sulfur. The water from Blawan Waterfall goes down to the earth then it shows up again in Asembagus, Situbondo district.

Blawan waterfall is surrounded by sharp cliffs and there is also stalagmite cave. It is believed that a long time ago this cave was often used for meditate. There are also macadamia plants in this area. Besides Blawan Waterfall, there is also a hot water spring for bathing in this tourism area. After visiting Blawan waterfall, we will continue our trip to Mt Bromo for about 5-7 hours driving by a private car. Upon arrival in Mt Bromo, you stay at Lava View Lodge Bromo or similar hotel where located on the rim of tengger region for enjoyable stay. Day 03: Bromo Sunrise – Savannah & Sunset Tours

Wake up in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 03:30 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the

sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as: Mount Panajakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill After a short break & take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD

vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo. After enjoy nice view in Mount Bromo and around at 07:30, we will continue our trip for about 30 - 45 hours driving by 4WD vehicle/ jeep to reach “the savanna / teletubies hill” by crossing the seas of sand in Tengger region which is bordered by mountains. Savannah valley is the one of interested places in

Bromo National park, This valley is close to sand of whispering (a massive desert in Mount Bromo). Savanna valley & sand of whispering in Bromo are a part of Mount Bromo attraction that mostly visited after they enjoyed sunrise tours in Mount Bromo area including climb to the highest peak and crater of Bromo. The savanna valley and sand of whispering have similar attraction, especially when foreigner visitors wish to make photography in Mount Bromo area. These interesting places mostly visited by domestic and foreign visitors when they have finished doing Mount Bromo trekking. It is located at northern side from the Crater and it is about 1,5 kilometers from Mount Bromo, the savannah Mount Bromo and sand of whispering only possible reached by private jeep or 4 WD vehicle for 30 minutes driving. Day 04: Bromo Hotel & drive to Surabaya or Malang After breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then we will leave your hotel or accommodation in Mount Bromo area to continue our trip to transfer you out back to Surabaya or Malang area as your last destination for this trip and it will take about 3-4 hours driving by a private car with AC (it is depend on the traffic situation). Blue Fire Ijen Tours: The blue fire is ignited sulphuric gas, which emerges from cracks at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit). Those gases are directly originated from the magmatic chamber under the volcano. The flames can be up to 5 meters high; some of the gas condenses to liquid and is still ignited. It is the largest blue flame area in the world and one of the purest sulfur mines. The flowing gases of volcanic were channeled through a network of ceramic pipes, resulting in condensation of molten sulfur. The sulfur, which is deep red in color when molten, pours slowly from the ends of these pipes and pools on the ground, turning bright yellow as it cools. The miners break the cooled material into large pieces and carry it away in baskets. Miners carry loads ranging from 75 kilograms to 90 kilograms, up 300 meters to the crater rim, with a gradient of 45 to 60 degrees and most miners make this journey twice a day Kawah Ijen or Ijen Crater is the only crater in Indonesia which has a natural phenomenon "blue fire". In the world, there are only two places that have the blue fire. The blue fire or blue flame tour become the highlight and known well by visitor as a main tourism attraction in Ijen Crater, beside the spectacular view of the green lake of the sulfur as one of the best creations of the God. Bromo Milky Way Tours: If the weather is good, you will have a chance to do optional tour program for Bromo Milky Way Tours in Mount Bromo area. This trip will be begun at midnight time from your hotel in Mount Bromo area (around at 1:30 or 02:00 am) and we will use 4WD vehicle or jeep to reach the place which is best point to see Milky Way in Mount Bromo area. If you want to photograph the Milky Way, the first thing you’ll need to know is how to find it. In this article & in order you can find the Milky Way’s galactic plane and more specifically with the bright galactic center, you are required to use either Smartphone apps or by memorizing important constellations. So, with this way, hoping you’ll be able to find the Milky Way with or without the use of technology. The Milky Way moves across the sky throughout the course of the night and the position of the Milky Way will differ depending on the time of year. The best times to observe the bright galactic center of the Milky Way, in Mount Bromo area, tends to be from about mid-March through mid-October, the “Milky Way Season”. Technically, you can see some part of the Milky Way at any time of the year, but when shooting in the time period from September through April, you’ll be limited to the dimmer parts of the night sky as the Sun obscures the center of bright galactic.
