Illinois as an accounting honors society. Has expanded to include finance and I/S students as well as being internationally recognized.
Currently 289 registered chapters. Over 200,000 members, worldwide,

UW BAY Main campus chapter was 4th (Delta)
established chapter, and has around 150 members.
UW – Bothell’s chapter is starting its 2nd year and had 50 members in its first year.
A superior BAY chapter reflects on the business program and the graduates from that school.
All accounting firms know about and are involved with BAP.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS 3.0 in area of concentration and either:
Cumulative GPA 3.0 Achieved rank in the top 35% of your class Attained a 3.25 cumulative GPA on the most
recently completed 30 semester hours (50 quarter hours).
$55 national registration fee and $5 quarterly chapter dues.
Hourly requirements: Minimum of 32 hours between Professional and
Service activities. At least 12 hours of each. A BAP hour is 50 minutes.
INVOLVEMENT To qualify as a BAP event, 25% of the
chapter members must participate.We would like to have events with 100%
participation Events that have less than 25%
involvement count as a BAP activity A maximum of 5 hours per year of Non-
BAP (not a BAP event or activity) Professional and 5 hours per year of Non-BAP Service hours are allowed to be reported.
AUTUMN QUARTER Meetings are typically bi-weekly on
