Assembly process of rear axle

Load rear axle casing on conveyer. Eject the rear axle shaft & put on stand.

LOADING CASING

Mount the dust cover on brake assembly. Tight all the bolts up to 75-80 lb.ft. with the

help of air gun.

BRAKE ASSEMBLY FITMENT

Put inner collar, inner bearing inside the axle tube.

Put the shim.Mount the hub on casing.Mount the outer collar & outer bearing.

HUB ASSEMBLY FITMENT

Tight the chuck nut & meet the chuck nut & axle tube slot with tightening.

BRAKE DRUM ASSEMBLY

• Mount the brake drum• Tighten the wheel nut &

washer(65 to 70 lb. ft.).• Insert axle shaft and tight

studs (65 to 75 lb. ft.).• Mount the slack adjuster

on cam shaft.• Put the sir-clip for lock.

Unload rear axle from conveyer.
