  • 1.Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs (/dbz/; February 24, 1955 October 5, 2011)[3][4] was an American entrepreneur,[5] marketer,[6] and inventor,[7] who was the co-founder (along with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne), chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. Through Apple, he is widely recognized as a charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolution[8][9] and for his influential career in the computer and consumer electronics fields, transforming "one industry after another, from computers and smartphones to music and movies".[10] Jobs also co-founded and served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, when Disney acquired Pixar. Jobs was among the first to see the commercial potential of Xerox PARC's mouse-driven graphical user interface, which led to the creation of the Apple Lisa and, a year later, the Macintosh. He also played a role in introducing the LaserWriter, one of the first widely available laser printers, to the market.[11]

Stephen Gary "Steve" Wozniak[1]:18 (born August 11, 1950),[3] known as "Woz", is an American inventor, electronics engineer and computer programmer who co-founded Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.) with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne. Wozniak single-handedly designed both theApple I and Apple II computers in the late 1970s. These computers contributed significantly to the microcomputer revolution.[4] 3. The original Apple Computer, also known retroactively as the Apple I, or Apple-1, is a personal computer released by the Apple Computer Company (now Apple Inc.) in 1976. They were designed and hand- built by Steve Wozniak.[1][2] Wozniak's friend Steve Jobs had the idea of selling the computer. The Apple I was Apple's first product, and to finance its creation, Jobs sold his only means of transportation, a VW Microbus,[3] and Wozniak sold his HP-65 calculator for $500.[4] It was demonstrated in July 1976 at the Homebrew Computer Club in Palo Alto, California.[5] 4. Timothy Donald "Tim" Cook (born November 1, 1960 in Mobile, Alabama[1]) is an American business executive, and is the CEO of Apple Inc.[2]Cook joined Apple in March 1998[3] as SVP of Worldwide Operations and also served as EVP of Worldwide Sales and Operations and was COO until he was named the CEO of Apple on August 24, 2011, succeeding Steve Jobs.[4] Cook had previously served as acting CEO of Apple after Jobs beganmedical leave in January 2011.[5] In early 2012, he was awarded compensation of 1 million shares, vesting in 2016 and 2021, by Apple's Board of Directors.[6] As of 2012, Cook's total compensation package of US$378 million makes him the highest paid CEO in the world.[7] 5. Sir Jonathan Paul "Jony" Ive, KBE RDI (born 27 February 1967)[1] is an English designer and the Senior Vice President of Design at Apple Inc. He oversees the Industrial Design Group, and also provides leadership and direction for Human Interface (HI) software teams across the company.[2] He is the designer of many of Apple's products, including the MacBook Pro, iMac, MacBook Air, iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini and iOS 7. Steve Jobs considered Ive to be his "spiritual partner at Apple," while Fortune magazine stated in 2010 that Ive's designs have "set the course not just for Apple but for design more broadly."[3][4][5] 6. The iPhone (retroactively labeled the original iPhone, iPhone 2G) is a smartphone that was designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It is the first generation of iPhone and was announced on January 9, 2007[9] after years of rumors and speculation.[10] It was introduced in the United States on June 29, 2007. The iPhone 4 is an iOS smartphone developed by Apple Inc. Following a number of notable leaks, the iPhone 4 was first unveiled on June 7, 2010 at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco,[7] and was released on June 24, 2010, in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan. 10. The iPhone 5 is a touchscreen smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is the sixth generation of the iPhone, succeeding the iPhone 4S and preceding the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Formally unveiled as part of a press event on September 12, 2012, it was released on September 21, 2012. The iPhone 5 featured major design changes in comparison to its predecessor. These included an aluminum-based body which was thinner and lighter than previous models, a taller screen with a nearly 16:9 aspect ratio, the Apple A6 system-on-chip, LTE support, and Lightning, a new compact dock connector which replaces the 30-pin design used by previous iPhone models. 11. iPhone 5S (marketed with a stylized lowercase 's' as iPhone 5s) is a smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is part of the iPhone line, and was released on September 20, 2013. Apple held an event to formally introduce the phone, and its mid-range counterpart, the iPhone 5C, on September 10, 2013.
