What is the lasso tool?

A tool that allows you to select through a free hand method› Unlike the marquee which defines the shape of your selection

How does it work?

Draws a selection beginning where you click with the mouse

It follows the cursor as you drag your mouse› If you let go of the cursor, PS will

automatically finish your selection with a straight line from where you stopped to the point at which you started

TIP!

When you are using any of the lasso tools to select, make sure to ZOOM IN as much as possible› Also use your add to and subtract

from selection options!

To complete a selection:› A small circle appears at the lower left corner of the lasso tool when you hover over the starting point of your selection

› Click when you see that point
