I started going to school at the age of five . My mother woke me up very early in the morning. She took my best blue trousers and a white cotton shirt out of the cupboard and helped me to get washed and dressed . I was very excited to be starting school . But as my mother looked down at me and stroke my dark hair , I saw tears in her eyes. I knew that my mother was very sad about me going to school that morning . Dont worry. You will soon settle down very quickly. Not before long , we were outside the school. I wanted to run away and leave it , but I knew I couldnt. I found myself with a small group of children and we went off with an old teacher. She had red hair and was quite short and fat.Her eyes were horrible . The teacher took us into an old dirty classroom. Right at the beginning , she pointed at each student and said , Your name ,please! When she spoke to me, I couldnt say my second name because her straight , cold face had made me shake with fear. I had to repeat myself a second time and I could feel my ears get red and hot. Everyone was looking at me . I had just finished when a pretty young woman with long blonde hair came in. She spoke softly to us . She said that she was our history teacher. She made an effort to make us calm. But for me , I was so worried and afraid that I didnt even take my breakfast during the break. I still remember that day .
