The work is immense, and it needs to be covered by more than a handful of people. In the past, a core group has committed to the work that comes with the festivalbut it is obvious that every person who considers himself

raising money is at the front of our minds this month, but we are above all here to live and promote the Orthodox faith and the wonderful gift that is resurrection and eternal life, facilitated by our Lord and Savior on the cross. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful show of support for our homeless

Sunday School classes concluded on June 8, which was the Feast of Pentecost. A huge thank you to all of the parents who assisted with the class and brought snacks, and to the Philoptochos, which sponsored an end-of-year gift of a small icon diptych for each student. This year, we averaged eight students per Sundayand that's

the year totaled $80, which the class chose to split between international Orthodox Christian Charities (iOCC) and a local charity, the Humane Society of Chittenden County.

Greek language classes and dance practices are underway, and our Friday evenings have been a joyous time for families, thanks to the leadership of Theodora Contis and Tammy Valadakis.
