I want to thank you for the wel- coming recepƟon that I’ve re- ceived. I’m finding much joy in being a part of this worshipping community as we seek to live out gospel lives together. In those six months I’ve discovered a very vast array of ministry happening through the people of Faith. This is something to celebrate! The Church Council agrees, and has decided that we will not have the usual kind of Annual MeeƟng this year. Instead we’ll be holding a CongregaƟonal CelebraƟon of Ministries and Annual MeeƟng. The necessary annual meeƟng business will be conducted, but it will be interspersed with stories that highlight the many and varied ministries that the congregaƟon has been involved in during 2015. CongregaƟonal Leadership will al- so be sharing their vision for a new ministry structure that we plan to transiƟon to during 2016. Church Council believes that this new structure will empower decision making by those who are engaged in doing specific ministries. The Council will also be able to focus more on prayerfully discerning God’s direcƟon for our life togeth- er in this community, evaluaƟng ministries, and envisioning how we might best respond to God’s call. We also feel that this new struc- ture will help us to mobilize even more ministry happening through this vibrant community of faith. Healthy Ministry requires both be- ing and serving. Beginning Wednesday, January 6, 2016 and con nuing through February 3, 2016, the Wednesday Night Bible Study will begin a five week (or longer) study of the Book of Revela on. VOLUNTEEERS NEEDED 12-Days of Christmas Dinner at Hope Center -

Tuesday, January 5 at 5:00 pm

Members of Faith will prepare and serve a meal at the Hope Center on Tuesday, January 5. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve the meal. Members are asked to help provide fresh fruit and cookies, which can be le at church Sunday, January 3 or before 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan 5. Please leave a note that they are for the Hope Center.
