The chief advantages of the conveyor transportation systems are high labour productivity achieved through automation of equipment and possibility of transporting loads over long distances at a low cost. In many industries conveyors are the main means of non-stop transportation over limited and unlimited areas. The conveyor transportation systems are particularly important for mining, steel making and construction materials production.

The correctly chosen belt ensures a reliable and efficient operation of the entire conveyor system.

At present, the company manufactures conveyer belts based on both industrial fabric and metallic cords of various hardness.

Kurskrezinotekhnika JSC, Russias leader in the production of industrial rubber products, offers its customers a wide range of conveyer belts virtually for all branches of industry:

Fabric linings of multiple-layer belts consist of warp threads arranged along the belt and transversal weft threads enwrapping and circumventing those supporting the warp. The structural and technological features of the warp and weft threads are determined by the fabric type. depending on the warp and weft, the fabric has various strength and elongation.

depending on the belts applications, it is manufactured from different materials, such as polyamide, polyester, viscose, cotton, and their combinations. viscose and cotton are used to enhance the fire-proof performance and increase the adhesion between the fabric and rubber or polyvinyl chloride composites.

Warp and weft threads in a single-layer solid-woven pattern have a sophisticated web structure that renders extra strength in the transversal and a slight elongation in the longitudinal directions. The bulkily interlaced warp and weft threads of the solid woven fabric made from polyamide-viscose and polyester-polyamide viscose fibres and saturated with polyvinyl chloride compounds make up a monolithic tractive framework.

the quality of Kurskrezinotekhnika Jscs belts is proved by many years of successful cooperation with our partners.

    / Increased wear-resistance belts

    / Wear-resistant belt

stRenGthStrength is the chief feature of the conveyer

belt ensuring the tractive effort transfer. The conveyer belt strength is the product

of the rated maximally permissible operating load of the traction lining depending on the belt width, number of traction linings and the belt safety factor.

The safety factor takes into account the strength reduction due to the belt carcass fatigue caused by multiple bending on drums and roller supports, irregular load distribution

over the belt width and thickness, and load impacts. Also, allowances are made for the number of joints and the joining method.

Modern high strength industrial fabrics have maximized the belt performance in terms of strength to weight ratio, which made it possible to decrease the drive power and conveyer drum diameter, and to simultaneously increase the conveyer productivity and length.

Fire resistance or combustibility is the products capability to resist fire or catch it.

Based on this property, the conveyer belts are divided into hardly inflammable and slow burning ones.

Hardly inflammable frost-resistant belts can operate at low ambient air temperatures (minus 45).

Slow burning conveyer belts are referred to the new generation belts capable of safe operation in hazardous dust and gas contaminated conditions.

The fire resistance properties of the conveyer belts are estimated based on the

following criteria: Burning time of one and six samples, in

seconds: Oxygen index, %; length of the belt portion remaining

undamaged during laboratory tests in the fire adit, %.

Spontaneous ignition temperature, ; Ignition during friction on the drum, . Belt fire resistance is ensured by use of

special rubber mixtures made on the basis of rubber resins resistant to thermal oxidation and with employment of compounds that inhibit or prevent burning.

() belts are designed for delivery of coal, rock, and mining mass on belt conveyers installed at an inclination angle of -16 to 18 in coal and shale mines, including those that are hazardous in terms of gas and dust concentration at an ambient air temperature of -25 to 60C. () belts are for an essentially new to Russia type of fire resistant belts featuring a self-extinguishing capability after removal of a source of fire and fire safety performance compliant with the european standards applied to class v (self-extinguishing) belts.

() belts have a permit for use issued by the Russian and Ukrainian Technical Supervision Agencies.

() polyvinyl-chloride solid-woven carcass-based slow burning conveyer belts with rubber covers are designed for delivery of coal, rock, and anthracite by conveyers installed in underground pits with a pitch angle of -12 to +14. The belts are used at an ambient air temperature of 5 to 60C.

The design of a single-lining belt precludes de-lamination in increased humidity and ensures low elongation and easy troughing. In addition, it is characterized by very high resistance to longitudinal cuts and impacts.

The belts feature improved fire-safe properties and are recommended for use in the mines mains supply lines and in individual areas that are hazardous in terms of dust and gas combustibility.

Hard operating conditions are common in deliv-ery of crushed and stripped soft rocks, furnace charg-es and large single-piece loads.

The main types of destruction are abrasive wear, cuts and punctures of the operating cover. In these conditions, the most commonly used conveyer belts with a breaker lining between the carcass and operat-ing cover.

The medium intensity operating conditions are those for delivery of crushed ore, furnace charge, ore concentrate, clay, cement, bricks, coke, shale, timber products, etc. Such conditions are characterised by relatively low load impacts on the belt when it is being loaded and insignificant wear of the operating cover in protracted conveyor operation.

Heat resistance is an ability of the belt rubber cover to resists heat-caused aging, in which process the rubbers chemical structure sustains irreversible changes, which reduces the product longevity and accelerates its destruction.

The belt heating intensity depends primarily on the temperature of the loads being delivered. depending on the temperature and size of the loads being delivered and on the belt movement speed and conveyer length, the temperature difference between the loads and the belt surface varies from 20 to 100. Four types of heat-resistant belts are manufactured

for delivering loads with different temperature. Their design and the range of products they deliver do not essentially differ, but the composition and properties of the rubber used for their manufacture vary widely: 2T1 belts are for delivery of loads with

temperature below 100; 2T2 belts are for delivery of loads with

temperature below 150; 2T3C belts are for delivery of loads with

temperature below 180; 2T3 belts are for delivery of loads with

    temperature below 200.

oIL-ResIstanCeOil resistance is the ability to resist the

impact of aggressive media. The aggressive media are those that cause

irreversible changes in the rubber chemical structure.

Oil resistant conveyer belts are used to deliver loose, lumped and single-piece materials containing vegetable and mineral oils, resins, and lubricants.

The aggressive medium causes a chemical destruction resulting in rupture of chemically unstable bonds and the swelling of the conveyer belt covers. To prevent the covers swelling, oil-resistant rubber mixtures derived from special purpose resins are used in the manufacture of conveyor belts.

The following are oil-resistant types of conveyer belts:

    MCO are oil-resistant fire-safe (hardly inflammable) belts;

    MCA are oil-resistant anti-static belts for operation in conditions requiring a static electricity discharge;

    MCT1 are oil- and heat-resistant belts used to deliver loads with a temperature up to 100 containing vegetable and mineral oils, resins, and lubricants;

MCT2 are oil- and heat-resistant belts used to deliver loads with a temperature up to 150, containing vegetable and mineral oils, resins, and lubricants.

MCTM are oil-, heat-, and frost-resistant belts used to deliver loads with a temperature up to 100 at a low (down to minus 45) ambient air temperature.

Kurskrezinotekhnika seeks to maximally reequip and modernize its manufacturing facilities.

We go to great lengths to respond to our customers demands for product efficiency, reliability and operational

    safety.

The introduction of a new extra-strong conveyor assembly line fitted with pneumatic systems from FeSTO, Austria, length

and width measuring sensors from BAUeR, Switzerland, and electronic equipment from SIeMeNS, Germany,

enabled Kurskrezinotekhnika JSC to manufacture conveyer belts of essentially higher quality.

We manufacture belts in compliance with European standards.

We eliminated the possible corrugation faults and cambering defects.

We have increased by 15% the adhesion between linings which has improved the conveyor belt

    performance.

We have enhanced the strength and homogeneousness of the rubberized fabric conveyer belt supporting frame.

We have acquired a new calender line for production of conveyor belts. This has been designed by experts of the Uth GmbH Company, Germany, subject to a

special order from Kurskrezinotekhnika JSC. The line is a unique blend of the worlds best dedicated equipment, such as four-roller calender of the British company Farrel

fitted with the hydraulic calender roller gap regulators and non-contacting carcass thickness gauge (essair Reflex automatic scanner) from the Italian manufacturer

    electronic Systems S. p. a.

The new production lines will enable Kurskrezinotekhnika JSC to considerably increase the existing conveyer belts manufacturing facilities, expand its

product range of high quality conveyor belts meeting requirements of the worlds standards, and enlarge its presence on the domestic and global

    markets.
