May | 2018 LCC Student Zina Hamu Receives the Emerging Young Leaders Award LCC International University student Zina Salim Hassan Hamu has been awarded the Emerging Young Leaders Award for her dedication to portray the stories of the Yazidi people through photo journalism. The award is granted by the U.S. Department of State to ten exceptional young leaders from all over the world. On May 14, Ambassador Hall hosted Zina at a reception in the U.S. Embassy in Vilnius to recognize her outstanding achievement. NEWS BITES Vilnius Kids Camp 2018 On May 1, 20 LCC students spent 5 days leading an English and Bible camp for 104 fifth grade students from Vilnius. The theme of the camp was "The Journey of Jesus" which looked at six different steps of Jesus' life on earth. Bachelor's degrees were awarded to more than 70 graduates. Graduates of the Class of 2018 represented 11 countries.
