It is a laser alignment device that utilizes a three-dimensionally aligned laser and horizontal vial for reference alignment.
It has a fully machined body and accepts the full range of SA-S accessories.

Rotary Base
The Rotary Base allows layout orientation of loudspeakers via angular alignment to each component and room orientation.
By using the Rotary Base one can also orient layouts from a level plane of reference, quickly and effectively giving a precise means of complete system setup.

It also rotates 360° about the Lens Adapter Base and works in conjunction with the Protractor for angular referencing.
Operation of the 2-way Splitter Lens requires a lens base adapter.
The 2-way Beam Splitter Lens projects a 90-degree dot and straight beam dot simultaneously from the P-770 unit.

Line Lens
The Line Lens generates a visible laser line at approximately 100° wide from the P-770 unit.

The Rotary Base Plate is designed as a rack platform that allows for quick use of the Rotary Base on any edge (such as a loudspeaker enclosure).
It can also be mounted on a tripod.

The Variable Line Generator (LG 120) produces a super bright laser line with a dispersion angle that is adjustable from 15° to 100°.
LG 120: Variable Line Generator
This allows for visualization of any loudspeaker’s acoustical dispersion pattern.
Utilizing the variable aperature feature, the dispersion pattern of any tweeter or midrange driver can instantly be “seen” as it emanates from the loudspeaker.
The interaction between the generated sound waves and existing room geometry can, for the first time, be visually observed in any room or hall.

How does one use the LG 120 to model a loudspeaker’s dispersion pattern?
The Variable Line Generator (LG 120) can be used on any loudspeaker system by either holding the unit flat against the face of the loudspeaker or by using the optional SA-S steel base plate that allows for “hands-free” operation.
