Thanks to the generosity of one of our parish families, we now have beauti-ful Stations of the Cross which surround us in the church. This set of the 14 Stations of the Cross was commissioned by Granda Sacred Art Studios in Madrid to renowned contemporary artist Hortensia Nez-Ladevze in the year 2000 as a part of an initiative to bring sacred art into the 21st century. This initiative rose after Saint John Paul’s Letter to Artists in 1999 in preparation for the Jubilee Year 2000.
The artist, Hortensia Nez-Ladevze is a member of the Saint Jordi Royal Academy of Arts and her work is shown in several contemporary art museums around the world, including the Florida Museum of Hispanic & Latin American Art in Miami. The search for transcendence and beauty are at the core of her art. Now that the Stations of the Cross have been put up, we are looking at various ways to light them. Thanks be to God for this gift to our parish.
We H av e G o n e S o l a r ! The solar panels are now working…and soon we will see the fruits of our labor as our electricity costs will be going down by close to 85% each month. Thanks to everyone in the parish who have taken part in the Pastoral Services Appeal which allowed us to do this venture.
Pa s to r a l S e rv i c e s A p p e a l U p d at e We have just received the most recent update of the PSA for 2018. As of July 1: 509 households have pledged a total of $365,238.00; the amount paid is $299,930.00; rebated to our parish is $155,930.00. As of now, 19% of our households are involved. Last year 476 households gave gifts and or pledges to the PSA. We only need 15 more households to make a gift or pledge of $50.00 or more for us to increase by 10% and thus receive an incentive award of $1,000.00 from the Diocese. Please consider mak-ing that gift or pledge by using the PSA envelope found in the pews. Thank you.

Th a n k Yo u to o u r Pa r i s h Fa m i ly ! For your generous gifts of backpacks
and supplies that blessed 205 children! Sometimes smiling faces speak more than words. Your gifts of thoughtfulness and love have helped these children begin the school year with more confidence, more joy, and more hope. Many thanks to Carl and Linda Schwab for coordinat-ing, to all our volunteers, to our VBS families, and to all of you for your generosity.
XLT on Sunday, 9/23 from 7-9pm: Do you sometimes feel like you are not good enough? Or like if people knew the real you, they couldn't possibly love you? Do you long to feel loved, con-nected, validated, worthy, or known? In a world where we have countless ways to be connected, we can still feel as lonely as ev-er. The truth is that God is the only one who can truly love you in the way that you desire to be loved. St. Timothy parish invites you to experience the love of God, our RELENTLESS FATHER, at XLT. XLT is a transformational night of prayer, consisting of praise & worship, a powerful message, Reconciliation and Ado-ration of the Blessed Sacrament. XLT is short for EXALT, so come join us in exalting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, and experience a real & powerful encounter with God. Catholic or not, young or old, all are welcome!

As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15) When we commit to serve the Lord, we must be willing to become a partner in the work of the Lord. A partner is a person who invests time in prayer every day, joyfully participates in charitable works and generously supports the parish and Church mission. If we say we serve God, we must actually do something and not merely talk about it!
